On June 1, France reported 1 outbreak of H5N1 HPAI in poultry in Dordogne, resulting in 70 poultry infected and died, and 7,130 culled.

2. Netherlands reported 7 H5N1 HPAI outbreaks in wild birds

On June 2 and 4, the Netherlands reported 7 outbreaks of H5N1 HPAI in wild birds in South Holland Province and 2 other locations, resulting in 9 wild birds infected and died.

3. Latvia reported 1 H5N1 HPAI outbreak in wild birds

On June 2, Latvia reported 1 outbreak of H5N1 HPAI in wild birds in Ventspils Municipality, resulting in 1 wild bird infected and died.

4. Norway reported 1 H5N1 HPAI outbreak in wild birds

On June 2, Norway reported 1 outbreak of H5N1 HPAI in wild birds in Nordland County, resulting in 1 wild bird infected and died.

On June 1 and 5, the United States reported 10 outbreaks in poultry, 1 outbreak in wild birds of H5N1 HPAI and 4 outbreaks in wild birds of H5 subtype HPAI in Minnesota State and 4 other locations, resulting in 132,000 commercial poultry culled, and 62 wild birds and backyard poultry infected with 56 deaths.

8. Canada reported 1 H5N1 HPAI outbreak in wild birds and 1 in poultry

On June 5, Canada reported 1 outbreak in wild birds and 1 in poultry of H5N1 HPAI in Saskatchewan and one other location, resulting in 17 wild birds and backyard poultry infected and died, 3 culled, and among commercial poultry, 30 infected and died, and 627 culled.

9. Senegal reported 1 H5N1 HPAI outbreak in poultry

On June 3, Senegal reported 1 outbreak of H5N1 HPAI in poultry in Dakar Province, resulting in 31 poultry infected and died, and 21 culled.

10. South Africa reported 9 H5N1 HPAI outbreaks in wild birds

On June 5, South Africa reported 9 outbreaks of H5N1 HPAI in wild birds in Western Cape Province, resulting in 13 wild birds infected, 8 deaths, and 5 culled.

On June 1, Moldova reported 3 outbreaks of rabies in Hîncești District, resulting in 1 cattle and 2 domestic dogs infected and died.

On June 1 and 5, Hungary reported 7 outbreaks in wild boar and 1 in domestic pigs of African swine fever (ASF) in Nógrád County and 3 other locations, resulting in 9 wild boar and an unspecified number of domestic pigs infected and died.

2. Italy reported 54 ASF outbreaks in wild boar

On June 1 and 5, Italy reported 54 outbreaks of ASF in wild boar in Emilia-Romagna and 2 other regions, resulting in 54 wild boar infected and died.

3. Latvia reported 12 ASF outbreaks in wild boar

On June 2, Latvia reported 12 outbreaks of ASF in wild boar in Tukums Municipality and 3 other locations, resulting in 12 wild boar infected and died.

4. Ukraine reported 1 ASF outbreak in wild boar
