On June 9 and 10, Germany reported 40 outbreaks of H5N1 HPAI in wild birds in Hesse and 4 other locations, resulting in 78 wild birds and backyard poultry infected and died, and 3 culled.

2. Lithuania reported 1 H5N1 HPAI outbreak in wild birds

On June 9, Lithuania reported 1 outbreak of H5N1 HPAI in wild birds in Vilnius County, resulting in 5 wild birds and backyard poultry infected and died, and 50 culled.

3. Norway reported 1 H5N1 HPAI outbreak in wild birds

On June 10, Norway reported 1 outbreak of H5N1 HPAI in wild birds in Møre og Romsdal County, resulting in 2 wild birds infected and died.

4. Serbia reported 4 H5N1 HPAI outbreaks in wild birds

On June 12, Serbia reported 4 outbreaks of H5N1 HPAI in wild birds in Srem District and one other location, resulting in 4 wild birds infected and died.

5. France reported 5 H5N1 HPAI outbreaks in wild birds

On June 12, France reported 5 outbreaks of H5N1 HPAI in wild birds in Seine-Saint-Denis and 2 other locations, resulting in 10 wild birds and backyard poultry infected and died.

6. United States reported 1 H5N1 HPAI outbreak in wild birds and 6 in poultry

On June 12, the United States reported 1 outbreak in wild birds and 6 in poultry of H5N1 HPAI in Indiana and one other location, resulting in 57 wild birds and backyard poultry infected and died, 7 culled, and 87,000 commercial poultry culled.

7. Honduras reported 1 H5 subtype HPAI outbreak in wild birds

On June 9, Honduras reported 1 outbreak of H5 subtype HPAI in wild birds in Lempira Department, resulting in 135 wild birds infected, 132 deaths, and 3 culled.

On June 9, Poland reported 1 outbreak of Newcastle disease in Lubusz Voivodeship, resulting in 58,000 poultry infected, 1,000 deaths, and 38,000 culled.

On June 8, Romania reported 2 outbreaks of rabies in Vrancea County and one other location, resulting in 1 cattle and 1 wild red fox infected and died.

3. Malaysia reported 7 rabies outbreaks

On June 8, Malaysia reported 7 outbreaks of rabies in Sarawak State, resulting in 5 domestic dogs and 3 domestic cats infected and died.

On June 11, Germany reported 7 outbreaks of serotype 8 bluetongue in Hesse and Baden-Württemberg, resulting in 9 cattle infected, 1 death, and 1 culled.

On June 8, Romania reported 1 outbreak of peste des petits ruminants in Mureș County, resulting in 882 sheep infected and 36 deaths.

On June 12, the United States reported 6 outbreaks of New World screwworm in Texas and one other location, resulting in 4 cattle, 1 domestic dog and 1 goat infected.

17. Mexico reported 12 New World screwworm outbreaks

On June 8 and 9, Mexico reported 12 outbreaks of New World screwworm in Aguascalientes State and 2 other locations, resulting in 16 livestock including cattle, horses, sheep and domestic dogs infected.

On June 8 and 12, South Africa reported 198 outbreaks of SAT1 foot-and-mouth disease (FMD) in Limpopo Province and 4 other locations, resulting in 1,462 cattle infected, 109 deaths, and 2 culled.

On June 8, Malaysia reported 1 outbreak of serotype A FMD in Johor State, resulting in 6 cattle infected.

On June 8, Hungary reported 7 outbreaks of African swine fever (ASF) in wild boar in Nógrád County and 3 other locations, resulting in 8 wild boar infected and died.

2. Estonia reported 2 ASF outbreaks in wild boar

On June 9, Estonia reported 2 outbreaks of ASF in wild boar in Järva County, resulting in 2 wild boar infected and died.

3. Latvia reported 18 ASF outbreaks in wild boar

On June 9, Latvia reported 18 outbreaks of ASF in wild boar in Tukums Municipality and 4 other locations, resulting in 18 wild boar infected and died.

4. Spain reported 1 ASF outbreak in wild boar

On June 11, Spain reported 1 outbreak of ASF in wild boar in Catalonia, resulting in 6 wild boar infected and died.

5. Serbia reported 1 ASF outbreak in wild boar and 28 in domestic pigs

On June 11, Serbia reported 1 outbreak in wild boar and 28 in domestic pigs of ASF in Srem District and one other location, resulting in 1 wild boar infected and died, and among domestic pigs, 65 infected, 49 deaths, and 384 culled.

On June 12, Italy reported 41 outbreaks of ASF in wild boar in Emilia-Romagna and 2 other regions, resulting in 41 wild boar infected and died.

On June 12, Poland reported 22 outbreaks of ASF in wild boar in Pomeranian Voivodeship and 3 other locations, resulting in 32 wild boar infected and died.
