1. Austria reported 1 H5N1 HPAI outbreak in wild birds

On July 13, Austria reported 1 outbreak of H5N1 HPAI in wild birds in Burgenland, resulting in 1 wild bird infected and died.

 

2. Netherlands reported 5 H5N1 HPAI outbreaks in wild birds

On July 15, the Netherlands reported 5 outbreaks of H5N1 HPAI in wild birds in South Holland Province and 2 other locations, resulting in 5 wild birds infected and died.

 

3. Norway reported 1 H5N1 HPAI outbreak in wild birds

On July 15, Norway reported 1 outbreak of H5N1 HPAI in wild birds in Vestfold County, resulting in 1 wild bird infected and died.

 

4. Denmark reported 1 H5N1 HPAI outbreak in wild birds

On July 17, Denmark reported 1 outbreak of H5N1 HPAI in wild birds in Slagelse Municipality, resulting in 1 wild bird infected and died.

On July 15, Honduras reported 1 outbreak of H5 subtype HPAI in wild birds in Santa Bárbara Department, resulting in 54 wild birds and backyard poultry infected, 32 deaths, and 231 culled.

 

7. Canada reported 1 H5N1 HPAI outbreak and 3 H5N5 HPAI outbreaks in wild birds

On July 15, Canada reported 1 outbreak of H5N1 HPAI and 3 outbreaks of H5N5 HPAI in wild birds in Saskatchewan and 3 other locations, resulting in 12 wild birds infected and died.

 

8. Peru reported 2 H5N1 HPAI outbreaks in poultry

On July 15 and 16, Peru reported 2 outbreaks of H5N1 HPAI in poultry in Lima Province, resulting in 272 poultry infected and died, and 144 culled.

 

9. Australia reported 9 H5N1 HPAI outbreaks in wild birds

On July 17, Australia reported 9 outbreaks of H5N1 HPAI in wild birds in Western Australia and 2 other locations, resulting in 9 wild birds infected and 2 deaths.

1. Hungary reported 16 ASF outbreaks in wild boar

On July 13, Hungary reported 16 outbreaks of African swine fever (ASF) in wild boar in Nógrád County and 2 other locations, resulting in 17 wild boar infected and died.

 

2. Italy reported 39 ASF outbreaks in wild boar and 1 in domestic pigs

On July 13 and 17, Italy reported 39 outbreaks in wild boar and 1 in domestic pigs of ASF in Emilia-Romagna and 3 other regions, resulting in 39 wild boar and 3 domestic pigs infected and died, and 7 domestic pigs culled.

 

3. Ukraine reported 1 ASF outbreak in domestic pigs

On July 13, Ukraine reported 1 outbreak of ASF in domestic pigs in Sumy Oblast, resulting in 11 domestic pigs infected and 1 death.

 

4. Latvia reported 12 ASF outbreaks in wild boar

On July 15, Latvia reported 12 outbreaks of ASF in wild boar in Kuldīga Municipality and 2 other locations, resulting in 12 wild boar infected and died.

 

5. Estonia reported 3 ASF outbreaks in wild boar

On July 15 and 17, Estonia reported 3 outbreaks of ASF in wild boar in Jõgeva County and one other location, resulting in 9 wild boar infected and died.

 

6. Spain reported 2 ASF outbreaks in wild boar

On July 16, Spain reported 2 outbreaks of ASF in wild boar in Catalonia, resulting in 4 wild boar infected and died.

On July 17, Lithuania reported 7 outbreaks of ASF in wild boar in Tauragė County and 2 other locations, resulting in 9 wild boar infected and died.

On July 17, Romania reported 1 outbreak in wild boar and 13 in domestic pigs of ASF in Bacău County and 2 other locations, resulting in 1 wild boar infected and died, and among domestic pigs, 66 infected, 14 deaths, and 53 culled.
